COMPASS Test Preparation
COMPASS Test Preparation
Prepare for the COMPASS pilot aptitude test used by Transavia, Brussels Airlines (via Skywings), Aegean, Etihad, EPST and several flight academies. Covers the cognitive, psychomotor and personality components with a matched practice plan.
Course Lessons
Practice Exercises
The real assessment exercises this course prepares you for.
Math: Full
A mixed practice test combining all math categories — integers, decimals, fractions, time, weight, operators, and percentages — with a per-question timer.
Math: Fractions
Solve fraction arithmetic problems — addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions.
Math: Decimals
Solve decimal arithmetic problems — addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with decimal numbers.
Math: Percentages
Solve percentage problems — find the percentage or the whole number given the other two values.
Math: Time
Add or subtract two times expressed in hours, minutes, and seconds.
Speed, Distance & Time
Solve speed–distance–time word problems in an aviation setting — ground speed, distance to run, ETA and fuel burn — applying distance = speed × time to find the missing variable, mentally and against the clock.
Spatial Awareness
Visualise a 3D shape from a fixed viewpoint and pick the matching 2D view. Tests mental rotation and spatial perception under time pressure.
Spatial Orientation
Read your compass heading and a beacon's bearing, then judge where the beacon lies relative to your aircraft. Tests spatial orientation and sense of direction under time pressure.
Technical Reasoning
Inspect a technical construction of gears, pulleys, racks and rods, and pick the option that allows (or disallows) the indicated movement.
Number Sequences: Full Test
The full progress test for number sequences — a mixed drill combining 30% easy, 40% medium and 30% hard sequence types to mirror the difficulty level of real pilot assessments.
Aviation English
Three modes: written multiple-choice English items across grammar, idioms, synonyms and sentence completion, with a Wizz Air TestAir360 grammar preset; an ATC listening mode where a transmission plays once and you answer on what you heard; and a read-then-answer mode where a short text disappears before its question appears.
Hand-Eye-Foot Coordination Test
A real-time three-axis coordination test. Keep the aircraft centred on the target runway while periodic disturbances push it left/right, forward/backward, and roll it from side to side. Best practised with a game controller or rudder pedals mapped to the three control axes.
Path Following Test
A hand-eye coordination test of fine-motor precision, built on the continuous path-tracking format used across pilot aptitude screening. Steer a dot along a winding track from the green start to the red end without drifting off the path. The same route repeats each round so your improvement is measurable.
Task Manager
Enter new autopilot values quickly and accurately while cancelling red alerts within three seconds — the COMPASS-style two-task screen, on one shared keyboard.
Multitasking Test
Two tasks at once: scan number grids for duplicate pairs while answering spoken questions from your phonebook, agenda, mental math and word categories — some of which must be answered at an exact moment on the clock.
Complex Choice Reaction Test
Compare a target figure against four reference shapes and decide within 2.5 seconds whether it matches one of them.
Determination Test (DT)
Test your reaction speed with colors, directional arrows, and sounds across adaptive difficulty levels.
Vigilance Test (VIGIL)
Test your attention and reaction speed. Detect when the moving circle skips a position.
Instrument Monitoring Test
Watch a bank of cockpit gauges and catch the moment any needle drifts out of its green band — before the response window closes.
Big Five Personality Test
A scientifically grounded personality inventory based on the IPIP-NEO-120. Rate 120 statements to map your profile across the five major personality domains — Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism — each broken down into six facets.
