The final day is a motivation interview with the selection team and a psychologist. By now your aptitude is proven — this conversation decides whether Brussels Airlines and Skywings want to invest 19 months of training in you, and whether you have thought realistically about what you are signing up for.
What the interview probes
Motivation: why professional flying, why the MPL route, and why Brussels Airlines specifically — its A320 operation, its Brussels hub and its place in the Lufthansa Group are easy, high-value homework.
Realism: whether your expectations of a €112,500 commitment, 19 months of intensive training and the life of a junior First Officer are grounded.
Consistency: the psychologist will have your Day 2 questionnaire results at hand, and answers that contradict them invite exactly the probing you do not want.
How to prepare
Prepare a handful of true, compact stories that show teamwork, perseverance and how you handle setbacks, and rehearse them aloud. Be ready to explain concretely how you will finance the course and organise your life around training between Antwerp and Alicante. Know your own weaknesses and what you do about them — the psychologist is far more persuaded by honest self-awareness than by polish. Arrive as the same person your test results and questionnaire describe, and let consistency carry the day.
