Passing the ADAPT test earns you the human stages: a group activity observed by an IndiGo panel, and then a personal interview with IndiGo in Gurugram. Success here ends in a Letter of Intent — the document that secures your place in the programme before training begins.
What the panel is watching for
In the group activity: whether you communicate clearly, structure the task, bring quieter members in and stay constructive under time pressure — the multi-crew behaviours an A320 flight deck runs on.
In the interview: your motivation for a flying career and for IndiGo specifically, your understanding of the programme's length and cost, and whether your self-presentation is consistent with everything the panel has already seen.
Throughout: composure. Candidates who dominate the group or crumble under a challenging question undo strong test scores here.
How to prepare
Prepare six to eight true stories from your own life — teamwork, handling failure, leading and being led — and rehearse telling them briefly. Be ready to explain, in concrete terms, why an eighteen-month residential programme and its financial commitment fit your life. Self-knowledge is the foundation of both stages, and the Big Five personality test on this platform is a good way to read your own profile before a panel does: know your genuine strengths and weaknesses, and present them honestly, because an acted personality is usually found out.
