ENAC Aeronautical General Knowledge
IntellectualPSY0Aviation knowledge questions, from how a wing lifts to the capital of the Comoros, each with four answers and one of them right. A click is your answer and the next question comes straight up. The exam format is 48 questions at 8 seconds each.
Overview
This test has a minimum score, and falling short of it ends your selection whatever you scored on the other tests. In 8 seconds you can read the question and the four answers, but you can't work anything out, so the knowledge has to be there already. That comes from months of reading about aviation, not from a cram the week before. Learn mode corrects every question with a line on why, so use it to fill the gaps, then run the exam format until the pace feels normal.
Assessments
Part of the Air France Cadets selection at ENAC (PSY0) battery as “Culture aéronautique”.
Forty-eight questions with four options in September 2026, the count changing from one sitting to the next, at about eight seconds each and no way to decline one, sat at home with the rest of the stage. Ten subjects come up, of which ground school and world geography carry far more of the paper than the Air France fleet. It is the one activity in the stage that revision moves, and a minimum applies to it on its own.

One question, four answers
- Exactly one answer is right. Click it and that’s your answer: the next question comes straight up, and there’s no going back.
- Each question has its own clock, 8 seconds in the exam format. When the bar runs out, the question moves on whether you’ve answered or not.
- A late click lands on the next question. The new question shows up in the same place, so a click a moment too late picks one of its answers instead.
- A counter shows where you are, out of 48 in the exam format. You won’t see a score until the end.
Two questions to try
One you either know or you don’t, and one quick sum. Pick an answer to see the correction.

Read for the Keyword
Find the one word the question turns on, then look for it in the answers. There's no time to read anything twice.
Do the Sums in Your Head
Distance is speed × minutes ÷ 60, so 240 kt for 15 minutes is a quarter of 240: 60 NM. A runway's number times ten is its heading.
Answer Every Question
A guess can only help, and a blank is a sure zero. Rule out what you can, pick from the rest and move on.
Click Before the Bar Runs Out
The next question appears exactly where the last one was. A click as the bar runs out answers it instead.

Technical & Knowledge
5 exercisesTechnical Reasoning
Inspect a technical construction of gears, pulleys, racks and rods, and pick the option that allows (or disallows) the indicated movement.
Instrument Comprehension
Read cockpit instruments and reconstruct the aircraft's situation: match an attitude indicator and heading compass to the right silhouette, or — in the cut-e-style RBI/GYRO format — add heading and relative bearing to find the NDB beacon's zone.
Physics Knowledge
Answer high-school-level physics questions across mechanics and fluids, electricity and magnetism, optics, heat and energy — predicting how physical scenarios behave, not just recalling formulas.
Aviation Knowledge
Answer multiple-choice aviation-theory questions across principles of flight, aircraft systems, instruments, navigation, meteorology and air law. An ATPL-lite knowledge check under time pressure.
Electrical Comprehension
Reason about simple electrical circuits from their diagrams — switches and bulbs, series versus parallel behaviour, Ohm's law and power, and everyday electrics and magnetism.
