Prepare for Eurowings
One course prepares you for the Eurowings selection process.
Eurowings screens with interpersonal (ip Hamburg) at the application and assessment centre.
Eurowings runs its own Basic and Corporate Qualification with interpersonal in Hamburg rather than the Lufthansa Group's DLR route; candidates applying through the European Flight Academy's cadet programme follow the group process instead.

Eurowings is the Lufthansa Group's low-cost carrier, headquartered in Düsseldorf and flying short- and medium-haul routes from bases across Germany and Europe, including a major leisure operation at Palma de Mallorca. Its fleet is built around the Airbus A320 family, and as a point-to-point group airline it sits outside the global alliances while feeding the wider Lufthansa system.
Flying for Eurowings
Eurowings recruits both cadets and experienced pilots: ab-initio candidates train through the Lufthansa Group's European Flight Academy, while direct-entry First Officer campaigns run regularly and are open to pilots with comparatively low jet experience, making the airline a popular first step into the group. Type-rated A320 pilots and captains are also hired directly as bases grow.
Cadets pass the Lufthansa Group's DLR selection, and direct-entry applicants face computer-based aptitude and psychometric testing followed by competency-based interviews and a simulator assessment. Both routes screen heavily for multitasking, spatial reasoning and workload management, so rehearsing these test formats in advance gives candidates a clear edge.
