Prepare for VietJet Air
No VietJet Air course yet
Most operators screen with the same aptitude tests, so a general assessment course still covers the bulk of the selection.
VietJet Air is Vietnam's largest private carrier and one of Asia's fastest-growing low-cost airlines, headquartered in Hanoi with major operational bases in Ho Chi Minh City and across the country. It operates a young fleet built around the Airbus A320 family, supplemented by A330 widebodies, on a dense domestic network and expanding international routes. The airline is not a member of a global alliance, competing instead on its low-cost model and rapid fleet growth.
Flying for VietJet Air
VietJet recruits experienced and type-rated pilots internationally for its A320-family and A330 fleets, and runs an active cadetship for aspiring Vietnamese aviators through its own aviation academy. In 2026 the airline's training arm signed a five-year partnership with Airworks Aviation Academy in the Philippines, under which VietJet selects the cadets and Airworks delivers flight training courses of roughly eighteen months.
Cadet applicants face screening that includes computer-based aptitude and psychometric testing, English-language checks, interviews and medical assessment before any flying begins. With the airline's growth driving strong demand for the programme, arriving at selection already comfortable with timed cognitive and aptitude tests is a practical way to stand out.
