Prepare for Tréner Aviation Academy

One course covers the selection you sit at Tréner Aviation Academy.

Tréner Aviation Academy screens with TestAir360 at the stage 1 of Wizz Air's selection for the Academy.

Tréner is where the Wizz Air Pilot Academy trains; Wizz Air selects the cadets itself, adding a psychological assessment, a group exercise and an interview to the TestAir360 test.

Tréner Aviation Academy, operated by Tréner Kft., is a long-established Hungarian flight training organisation based at Nyíregyháza Airport in the east of the country. An EASA-approved ATO, it has trained generations of Hungarian commercial pilots and is the school where the Wizz Air Pilot Academy trains its cadets.

Training at Tréner Aviation Academy

The academy provides integrated and modular ATPL training, with both ground school and flying delivered at its Nyíregyháza base. Its highest-profile role is as the training school of the Wizz Air Pilot Academy (WAPA) and of Wizz's She Can Fly programme for women, taking cadets selected by Wizz Air from zero experience to a frozen ATPL and on to the airline's Airbus fleet.

Entry is controlled by Wizz Air's own four-stage selection: the TestAir360 aptitude test and a psychological assessment online, then a group exercise and an interview in Budapest. Both programmes are open only to nationals of the countries Wizz lists, most of them in Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans. As places are limited and competition is strong, systematic practice of pilot aptitude and cognitive tests is one of the most effective ways for applicants to strengthen their candidacy.
