Prepare for SunExpress

One course prepares you for the SunExpress selection process.

Candidate accounts consistently point to Mollymawk at SunExpress' psychometric stage.

SunExpress publishes nothing about it, so treat it as the likely battery rather than a settled fact.

The Mollymawk stage covers aptitude plus English, maths and physics; a simulator check follows for candidates who pass.

Provider mappings are based on public information and may change. Last checked September 2026.

SunExpress is a leisure carrier headquartered in Antalya and jointly owned by Turkish Airlines and the Lufthansa Group, linking Turkish holiday destinations with cities across Europe. Founded in 1989, it operates an all-Boeing 737 fleet of 737-800s and 737 MAX 8s and is expanding on the strength of a large MAX order book. It is not a member of a global alliance.

Flying for SunExpress

SunExpress develops new pilots through an MPL cadet programme that trains candidates from zero hours to a Boeing 737 First Officer position, with intakes announced periodically, and also recruits type-rated and experienced 737 pilots directly for its Turkish bases. Its joint-venture parentage gives crews exposure to both Turkish and European operating cultures.

Selection uses Mollymawk's computer-based pilot aptitude screening, covering areas such as memory, spatial orientation and multitasking, followed by psychological assessment, interviews and simulator evaluation for experienced applicants. Working through comparable aptitude and cognitive tests in advance is one of the best preparations a candidate can make.
