Prepare for LOT Polish Airlines
No LOT Polish Airlines course yet
Most operators screen with the same aptitude tests, so a general assessment course still covers the bulk of the selection.
LOT Polish Airlines is the flag carrier of Poland and a Star Alliance member, flying from its hub at Warsaw Chopin Airport to destinations across Europe, North America and Asia. One of the world's oldest airlines still operating, its fleet combines Boeing 787 Dreamliners on long-haul with Boeing 737s and a large Embraer E-Jet fleet on short- and medium-haul, and the airline is pursuing an ambitious growth plan.
Flying for LOT Polish Airlines
LOT runs open recruitment that is unusually accessible to low-hour pilots, regularly inviting candidates with a CPL and frozen ATPL to apply for First Officer positions on the Embraer fleet, alongside direct entry for experienced and type-rated crews. Cadet-style pathways and academy partnerships supporting the airline's expansion are announced periodically.
Selection is run in-house in Warsaw and typically includes computer-based aptitude and psychometric testing, technical knowledge checks, interviews and a simulator assessment. Candidates who have sharpened their cognitive and aptitude skills beforehand tend to perform noticeably better across these stages.
