Jet2.com is a leisure airline headquartered in Leeds that, together with its package-holiday arm Jet2holidays, forms the UK's largest tour operator. It flies from a network of UK bases to sun and city destinations around the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and Europe, operating Boeing 737-800s alongside a growing fleet of Airbus A321neos. The airline has a strong reputation for customer service and operates outside the global alliances.
Flying for Jet2.com
Jet2.com relaunched its Jet2FlightPath cadet programme in February 2026, offering sixty fully funded places — covering the entire cost of training from zero hours to a frozen ATPL and type rating — split across UK training partners including Skyborne and Leading Edge Aviation. Intakes run in annual cycles with short application windows, and the airline also recruits type-rated and experienced First Officers directly for its Boeing and Airbus fleets.
FlightPath selection runs through online ability and psychometric assessments, a video interview and an in-person assessment centre, with tens of thousands of applicants competing for each intake. At those ratios the online aptitude stage is the great filter, and candidates who have practised cognitive and aptitude testing beforehand give themselves a far better chance of surviving it.
