Prepare for flynas

One course prepares you for the flynas selection process.

Candidate accounts consistently point to cut-e / Aon at flynas' online aptitude stage.

flynas publishes nothing about it, so treat it as the likely battery rather than a settled fact.

Reported for direct-entry and low-hour applicants; the cadet Future Pilots programme for Saudi nationals is not separately documented.

flynas is Saudi Arabia's largest low-cost carrier, headquartered in Riyadh and operating an Airbus A320-family fleet across a domestic and regional network, with significant Hajj and Umrah traffic alongside scheduled services. It has expanded steadily as Saudi aviation opens up under Vision 2030, sitting in the market between the full-service Saudia and the newly launched Riyadh Air.

Flying for flynas

The airline recruits through two channels: direct entry for experienced Captains and First Officers, and the 'Future Pilots' cadet programme, which is open to Saudi men and women only. flynas has already brought its co-pilot ranks to full Saudi nationalisation and now runs the programme with the explicit aim of localising captain positions too. Cadet applicants need a high school qualification as a minimum, at least 240 total flying hours — 215 single-engine and 25 multi-engine — a GACA or ICAO-equivalent multi-engine CPL with instrument rating, and a valid GACA class 1 medical.

Two GACA gates sit in front of the programme: an English Language Proficiency Test at level 4 or above, and the GACA AIP test with a minimum score of 80%. That AIP test is itself a pilot aptitude battery, so unlike selections where the cognitive stage is unwritten, flynas publishes a hard number a candidate has to clear — which makes practising reasoning, memory and multitasking assessments a directly measurable investment.
