Prepare for flydubai

One course prepares you for the flydubai selection process.

Candidate accounts consistently point to cut-e / Aon at flydubai's online aptitude stage.

flydubai publishes nothing about it, so treat it as the likely battery rather than a settled fact.

The Aon/cut-e battery is reported as the first online stage for both cadet and experienced applicants, ahead of a video interview and a Dubai simulator check.

Provider mappings are based on public information and may change. Last checked September 2026.

flydubai is a government-owned Dubai-based carrier operating an all-Boeing 737 fleet, including the 737 MAX, from its hub at Dubai International Airport. It serves a broad network across the Middle East, Africa, Central and South Asia and Eastern Europe, much of it to underserved markets, and works in close partnership with Emirates on codeshares and connectivity rather than belonging to a global alliance.

Flying for flydubai

flydubai actively recruits direct-entry First Officers and Captains for its 737 fleet, with requirements built around jet experience and current licences, and runs an ab-initio cadet pilot programme for UAE nationals that trains candidates from zero hours toward the flight deck. Recruitment has been steady as the airline's MAX fleet and network expand.

Selection uses Aon's cut-e online aptitude platform to test reasoning, multi-tasking, monitoring and numerical skills, followed by video and panel interviews, psychometric profiling and a simulator assessment. The online cut-e battery arrives early in the process and eliminates many candidates, so focused practice on aptitude and cognitive tests before applying is time very well spent.
