Prepare for Breeze Airways
No Breeze Airways course yet
Most operators screen with the same aptitude tests, so a general assessment course still covers the bulk of the selection.
Breeze Airways is a US low-cost carrier founded by David Neeleman and flying since 2021, based near Salt Lake City and operating Airbus A220-300s alongside Embraer E190 and E195 aircraft. Its model deliberately avoids the big hubs, linking secondary cities directly on routes the majors do not fly, and it has grown quickly from a standing start.
Flying for Breeze Airways
Breeze recruits First Officers and direct-entry Captains, and partners with ATP Flight School on an accelerated Career Track that takes pilots from training to the Breeze flight deck at 1,500 hours by way of a jet transition programme and ATP CTP training. Requirements are the US standard — a commercial licence, a current FAA first-class medical, an FCC radiotelephone operator permit, a valid driver's licence and a passport — with the airline hiring A220 and E-Jet Captains directly as the fleet expands.
As a young airline growing fast, Breeze is hiring against a moving fleet plan rather than a fixed annual intake, so postings open and close with delivery schedules. Selection follows the US pattern of application screening, cognitive and personality assessment, a technical interview and a simulator evaluation — the assessment stage being the part a candidate can influence once the hours are in the logbook.
