Prepare for Bartolini Air

One course covers the selection you sit at Bartolini Air.

Candidate accounts consistently point to cut-e / Aon at Bartolini Air's online aptitude stage.

Bartolini Air publishes nothing about it, so treat it as the likely battery rather than a settled fact.

Bartolini runs a three-phase entry assessment for its Ryanair Future Flyer route; the online aptitude stage is followed by a maths, physics and English test, a solo interview and a group exercise in Lodz.

Bartolini Air is the largest pilot training organisation in Central Europe, flying from Lodz Airport in central Poland and, since 2026, a second base at Olsztyn-Mazury in the north-east. Its roughly thirty-aircraft fleet is built heavily around Tecnam types, including P2006T NG twins with Garmin avionics and FADEC-controlled Rotax engines, which keeps operating costs — and therefore course prices — well below the Western European average. It is one of only six official partner academies worldwide for the Ryanair Future Flyer Academy.

Training at Bartolini Air

The school runs both its own integrated and modular ATPL courses, priced in the region of €62,000 to €69,000 for the integrated route, and the Ryanair Future Flyer Academy programme, which sits at around €79,990 for EU citizens and is followed by a bonded Boeing 737 type rating rather than one paid upfront. The distinction matters: the Ryanair route carries a conditional offer of employment from the moment a cadet enrols, not on graduation, so the airline commits at the same time the cadet does. Bartolini is scaling that pipeline sharply, with more than 300 new cadets planned across the two Polish bases over four years.

Entry to the school's own courses is an assessment of aptitude and suitability for airline flying. Entry to the Ryanair programme is Ryanair's, and it is a harder gate: an online aptitude stage followed by an on-site assessment day of mathematics and physics papers, a group exercise and an oral interview. Because the airline's job offer is decided before any flying begins, the aptitude and reasoning stages carry the whole weight of the decision — and they are exactly the skills a candidate can build in the months before applying.
