Prepare for Airline Flight Academy

One course covers the selection you sit at Airline Flight Academy.

Airline Flight Academy does not select its own cadets — candidates go through Ryanair's process.

Ryanair screens with cut-e / Aon at the cadet selection (Ryanair Future Flyer Academy) and the online aptitude stage (direct application).

Airline Flight Academy is Ryanair Group's official cadet recruitment partner; candidates apply through the Ryanair careers portal for the B737 Cadet Programme rather than to the academy directly.

Provider mappings are based on public information and may change. Last checked September 2026.

Airline Flight Academy is the Ryanair Group's dedicated cadet training partner, operating from a purpose-built centre at Santry beside Dublin Airport that opened in 2021 following a €50 million investment in simulators and training facilities. An IAA/EASA-approved ATO established as a specialist provider of airline-readiness training, it announced in June 2026 that it had trained its 1,000th Ryanair Future Flyer Academy cadet.

Training at Airline Flight Academy

Rather than operating its own flying fleet, the academy specialises in the airline phases of the cadet pipeline: Ryanair Future Flyer cadets complete their ab-initio flying at partner schools across Europe before coming to Santry for the Ryanair-mentored APS MCC and, later, the Boeing 737 type rating. The Dublin centre houses full-motion Boeing 737 MAX and Airbus A320 simulators alongside fixed-base devices, cabin and fire trainers and more than fifteen classrooms, and the academy describes itself as Europe's largest provider of APS MCC training on the back of Ryanair's cadet volumes.

Entry runs through the Ryanair Future Flyer Academy selection funnel, which opens with an online battery of computer-based aptitude and psychometric tests — reported by multiple preparation providers to be Aon's cut-e suite — before an assessment day in Dublin. Since this screening decides who ever reaches the flight deck pipeline at all, dedicated practice of pilot aptitude tests is one of the smartest investments a prospective cadet can make.
