Prepare for Air Europa
No Air Europa course yet
Most operators screen with the same aptitude tests, so a general assessment course still covers the bulk of the selection.
Air Europa is a Spanish SkyTeam carrier headquartered in Llucmajor on the island of Mallorca, operating Boeing 787 Dreamliners on long-haul routes to Latin America and the Caribbean alongside a Boeing 737 narrowbody fleet from its main hub at Madrid-Barajas. It is one of Spain's principal long-haul airlines and a key connector between Europe and South America. In June 2026 the Spanish government approved Turkish Airlines' acquisition of a minority stake of around 25 to 27 per cent, a deal expected to close later in the year.
Flying for Air Europa
Air Europa hires direct-entry pilots for its 737 and 787 fleets and has run cadet intakes periodically in partnership with Spanish flight training organisations, including a mentored cadet programme with FTEJerez linked to its regional arm Air Europa Express. Openings depend on fleet plans and demand, so candidates should watch the airline's careers pages rather than rely on a standing intake; much of the airline's simulator training takes place at the CAE training centre in Palma de Mallorca.
Selection typically involves computer-based aptitude and psychometric testing, technical knowledge assessments, interviews and a simulator check. As at most Spanish carriers, places are heavily contested, and working through pilot aptitude and cognitive practice tests ahead of time is one of the most reliable ways to stand out on assessment day.
