No Acron Aviation Academy course yet
Most operators screen with the same aptitude tests, so a general assessment course still covers the bulk of the selection.
Acron Aviation Academy is a US-based airline pilot academy headquartered at Orlando Sanford International Airport in Sanford, Florida. The academy traces its lineage through CTC Aviation and the L3Harris Airline Academy before being acquired by TJC and rebranded as Acron in March 2025, carrying decades of airline cadet training experience into its current form.
Training at Acron Aviation Academy
Acron delivers ab-initio training from its Sanford campus, taking students from zero experience through commercial licences on airline-oriented cadet pathways as well as self-sponsored routes. It has delivered dedicated cadet classes for international carriers, including Air India and All Nippon Airways (ANA), continuing the airline-academy model built under its previous owners.
Entry to its cadet programmes is assessment-gated, with candidates screened through computer-based aptitude and psychometric testing and interviews, plus airline-specific selection where a carrier sponsors the class. Since these assessments decide who starts training at all, deliberate practice of pilot aptitude tests is a sensible investment for anyone targeting a place.
